Brotherhood.
Fellowship.
Charity.

Joined by our two common passions, Freemasonry and Motorcycling, the Indiana Widows Sons is the premier group of Master Masons that love to ride.

Charity

The Widows Sons raises thousands of dollars each year for worthy organizations and individuals in need of assistance around the State of Indiana.

Fellowship

Our Brothers and their Ladies value time together, not only on motorcycles, but through social activities and events that bring us all closer.

Brotherhood

The Widows Sons offers a unique Degree experience that is a continuation of the first three Degrees of Freemasonry and which tightens our bonds as Brothers and Masons even more.

About us

Founded in 1998, the Widows Sons is an international riders association comprised of Master Masons focused on charitable assistance to those in need.

With Chapters located all around the State of Indiana, we support our Masonic Lodges by providing a positive outlet for riding with like-minded Brethren, encouraging active participation in our Lodges, supporting Lodge activities, and promoting Freemasonry within the motorcycle community.

What Sets Us Apart

The patch of the Indiana Widows Sons that is worn by our active members is comprised of various Masonic symbols and the name of the local Chapter.  We also wear a Square and Compass patch to denote our fraternal affiliation to Freemasonry.

Charity Rides

Indiana Widows Sons Chapter rides are at the core of what we stand for. Each year, our Chapters hold charity events for organizations like the Dyslexia Center of Indiana, the Indiana Autism Society, HIKE Hearing Impairment Research Fund, Shrine Hospitals, and many others.

Traveling as Brothers

Keep an eye out for the Indiana Widows Sons at popular destinations like the Sturgis Rally in South Dakota, The Tail of the Dragon in Tennessee, and at all of your favorite motorcycling destinations.

Annual Rally

In August of each year, the Indiana Widows Sons hosts our annual Rally and fundraising event at the Johnson County Fairgrounds in Franklin, Indiana.

Our Chapters

The Indiana Widows Sons is comprised of 27 Chapters located all around the State of Indiana.

Every Chapter is unique in its own way and contains a diverse membership from many different Lodges. Each Widows Sons Chapter sponsors or participates in at least one local charity ride or event annually. In all cases, we strive to present a positive image of Freemasonry and our Association to the public.

Events

There is always fun to be had where the Widows Sons gather.

Whether it’s a local charity ride, a Chapter meeting, or our annual Rally, our members always aim to have a great time. Our biggest supporters – our families – are also always welcome to join in on the fun and fellowship whenever we get together.

What we do

The Indiana Widows Sons strives to help and serve those in need in our local communities. Our charity rides and events have raised thousands of dollars each year for non-profit organizations and individuals that need help. As a community of motorcycle riders, we are obligated to help those that may be stranded on the side of the road, even the metaphorical road of life.

We raise money for non-profit organizations and individuals across the State of Indiana. Are you interested in having the Widows Sons help your organization? Contact us today.

Supporting Local Lodges

We love to help and support our Brothers around the state by participating in Lodge degree work and helping to raise new Master Masons.

Seeing the Sights

We enjoy traveling to locations across the United States to visit other Widows Sons Chapters or participate in events. If that means that we get to see the amazing sights along the way, you can always count us in.

Recruiting

We pride ourselves on our unique degree experience that is an extension of the first three degrees of Freemasonry. And, we are always looking for new members to join our fast-growing membership.

Family Fun and Adventure

We are more than just Masons. Our families are always welcome at our events and rides. Whether it’s camping trips, our annual Rally, or just our normal meeting times, the family can always come along for the ride.

Community Outreach

We have been known to participate in our fair share of parades and local events. And, we are always willing to bring a group to local charity rides or fundraisers in your area. If you have an event that is helping those in your community, reach out to us today.
